The original Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield. This model took it's inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, and their most distinctive feature is its reflective tongue and clear rubber soles. The soles gave the shoe a whole new and unique look. This model also features a base top with lace locks, making strapping them on very easy. The lacelock feature was partly inspired by the Air Jordan Spiz'ikes.

These shoes are great for the price. They are light and they let your feet breathe easily. Only con is there is no arch support so after wearing the for a while my feet hurt badly.

These kicks are ill AND mad comfy. My beef is that the box was extremely beat up, the authenticity card was damaged, and shipping took about 2 weeks exactly. Otherwise not bad.
