The original Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield. This model took it's inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, and their most distinctive feature is its reflective tongue and clear rubber soles. The soles gave the shoe a whole new and unique look. This model also features a base top with lace locks, making strapping them on very easy. The lacelock feature was partly inspired by the Air Jordan Spiz'ikes.

These shoes are very comfortable. At the end of the day my feet still have some life in them. They're not to hot, and I'm not in a hurry to my shoes off.

This is my favorite kick coming in a white and red colorway with double thick soles for extra comfort and made of top quality fine leather. Jordan Brand has definitely the best craftmen skills. I am crazy for my kicks and the number 23 stitched on the side made my friends envy me even more. I got mine with free shipping and with a discount while the retail was already so low. I recommend this kicks to anyone.

What a classic. I never had any problems with this kick. It's made of fine leather and with this great colorway I am really assured of style. I like very much to draw attention to what I wear and this item is very cool since they day I bought them, I walk out in style and color. The kicks are extremely comfortable and I am the envy of my friends!

These kicks are ill AND mad comfy. My beef is that the box was extremely beat up, the authenticity card was damaged, and shipping took about 2 weeks exactly. Otherwise not bad.
