The original Air Jordan 5 was released in February 1990, designed by Tinker Hatfield. This model took it's inspiration from the Air Jordan 4, and their most distinctive feature is its reflective tongue and clear rubber soles. The soles gave the shoe a whole new and unique look. This model also features a base top with lace locks, making strapping them on very easy. The lacelock feature was partly inspired by the Air Jordan Spiz'ikes.

These kicks are ill AND mad comfy. My beef is that the box was extremely beat up, the authenticity card was damaged, and shipping took about 2 weeks exactly. Otherwise not bad.

As soon as I put the shoes on it was obvious that they are very wide. I tried to tie them extra tight but when I started walking they did not keep my feet in place. Also, when I received my shoes, the box was damaged.
