The Air Jordan Dub Zeros created in 2005, in celebration and tribute to the Air Jordans line. The shoe quickly became the most sought after model and soon became a collectors item.
These Dub Zeros took their inspiration from several other models. The Dubzero's sole and midsole were taken from the Jordan 4. The loop located at the back of the kicks were taken from the Jordan 6. Patented leather from the Jordan 11 was also used in the Dubzeros. Located at the tongue of the Dubzero and Jordan 12 is the ""T W O 3"". The Dubzero's upper frame was inspired from the Jordan 13. The woven leather on the Dubzero was taken from the Jordan 15's design. Inspired from the Jordan 17, you will see the chrome piece at the back of the Dub Zero. Laser etching that can be found on the Jordan 20 was also used in the Dubzero design. The Air Jordan Dub Zeros is considered by Nike to be an independent series under the Jordan Brand Shoes collection.
