The Air Jordan 18 is designed by Tate Kuerbis, Jordan Senior Footwear Designer. It is the first time that he will be heading the Air Jordan design team. As with the previous AJ’s, inspiration was also the main ingredient to come up with something different. His inspiration came from the F1 race cars specifically the Lamborghini Murcielago. It comes with suede leather uppers, a hidden quick lace system, Air Vents, Carbon Comfort Plate and a full length Zoom Air soles. With the metal case that came out with the Air Jordan 17. Kuerbis decided on a sleek custom box that you can slide in/out like a table drawer. The design of these custom Jordans are similar with AJ XVIII except that the lace cover was removed and it features a plastic pants leg-stopper and a more prominent Jumpman logo.

They are a little snug and i went up a half size, but otherwise, they have performed well so far. The delivery was delayed a bit, too.

I'm on my feet all day long. I manage a restaurant and needed a shoe that would stand up to the rigors of concrete and wooden floors. Sure, this is a running shoe, but I use it as my everyday-keep-my-feet comfortable shoe. I've always had sore feet, my arches and heels always hurt. Since wearing this shoe, I've had absolutely no problems with my feet. None! I'm seriously considering buying 3 more pairs.

Bought these and used them for all my running needs - indoor, outdoor, track. They supported my feet really well when they were new but as with all shoes wear and tear started to set in. Eventually the inside heel support broke and the fabric tore, rubbing on my feet and causing bleeding. This is probably preventable if you completely loosen the laces all the way to the bottom, but if you're like me and like a shoe you can put on for a quick run, then pass on these.
